SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

EdgeRM™ is a web-based application designed for Microsoft® Internet Information Server (IIS) and ASP.NET 2.0. It requires a Windows® machine to host and serve the web application through IIS (referred to as the EdgeRM Server below) and a client web browser for users to view the application (referred to as the EdgeRM Client below).

For installations supporting multiple users, it is recommended that you install the EdgeRM Server components listed below on a dedicated machine. For installations supporting limited users you may install and run all components on a user’s desktop machine. For advanced installations, it is also possible to install and run IIS and SQL Server™ on separate machines for improved performance.

• Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP Professional (32-bit only) or Windows Server 2003 (32-bit only)
  • Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 Professional have a 10 concurrent network connection limit.

• Microsoft IIS 5 or 6 with ASP.NET 2.0
  • Installation instructions for IIS 5.1 on Windows XP
  • Installation instructions for IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003

Database

• Microsoft SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, or SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
  • SQL Server 2005 Express Edition - free download
